In California everyone loves Halloween, you can see scary decorated houses, kids in schools are celebrating as well alongside their families and teachers.

We were in one of the most prestigious schools in Thousand Oaks Pinecrest Elementary School where Halloween is celebrated every year. It is pretty much the best day ever for Pinecrest students.

And it was scaaaaarry.

Hempstead Street is one of the must be place for residents in Agoura Hills.

The Parker family’s home is always an attraction. Each year David Parker, a studio executive, transforms his home into a high tech haunted house that never ceases to amaze and scare visitors.

In addition to decorating, many families on Hempstead enjoy being part of the action on Halloween night. Teens and tweens living on the street either hide and jump out at trick-or treaters, or they dress to confuse— the kids never know if a statue standing still on a lawn will come alive and chase them.

“It’s like a party,” Mary Jo Koehler said, she has lived on Hempstead Street for 24 years. “It’s fun. The sheriff comes by on horseback, and we don’t shut the doors the whole night.”
