Oats are extremely cheap and easy to prepare. Don’t buy pre – flavored packs of instant oatmeal, you can make interesting and tasty oats on your own. By using fresh ingredients there are many different flavors you can make. By doing this you choose the flavors and always match them according to your child taste.

¼ cup quick-cooking oats
½ cup whole milk, or more if needed
1 teaspoon wheat germ
¹⁄8 teaspoon ground cinnamon
½ banana
- In a small saucepan, combine the oats, milk, wheat germ, and cinnamon over medium-high heat. Bring to a boil. Stir until thickened.
- Mash the banana with a fork or spoon. Stir the banana into the mixture. Serve immediately.
