Pitti Bimbo 89 Buyer INTERVIEWS

Pitti Bimbo is the ideal place for viewing the collections of the brands we work with, discovering new names and understanding what is happening in the world of childrenswear. The fair has a fun atmosphere and a very functional layout. I really appreciated the new The Kid’s Lab area on the Top Floor of the Main Pavilion: a coherent and accessible proposal grouping together all the sections dedicated to research which greatly facilitates the work of us buyers.

I have been taking part in Pitti Bimbo ever since I opened my store in 1984. With my selection I try to propose a signature-free luxury characterized by very high quality and originality. The competition with online entities is fierce and a department store has to be able to offer an additional service: for this reason we organize initiatives and events, anti-bullying campaigns and a focus on sustainability. In the same way Pitti Bimbo always manages to give extra inspiration. I really appreciated the innovation of The Kid’s Lab and the contaminations between clothing, art and books.

I am really enthusiastic about the new The Kid’s Lab section: for us buyers it is much simpler to have all the experimental brands in a single location, there is plenty of space and each brand has very good visibility. Many companies that do not have a showroom in Milan exhibit at Pitti Bimbo, being here becomes the only opportunity to see their collections. The organization is perfect, Pitti Immagine supports the buyers at every moment of their stay.

This is my first time at Pitti Bimbo. A fantastic fair: the atmosphere is engrossing, the offering complete and crammed with detail, everything gave me loads of inspiration. I particularly liked the Fancy Room section with its very exciting brand mix. I am interested in children’s lifestyles and I found numerous new and amusing proposals. The organization is perfect.

I have always taken part in Pitti Uomo and, for two editions, in Pitti Bimbo as well. It is a compact fair, easy to visit with a unique atmosphere! I was looking for contemporary brands, in particular accessories and gift ideas, and I found lots of proposals in The Kid’s Lab, Sport Generation and Fancy Room sections. We’ll definitely be seeing you again at the winter edition!
