The mom-to-be celebrated her pregnancy with a Star Wars themed baby shower, kicking off the party with a bite of a gigantic Star Wars cake, which featured everything from pacifiers to a sign that read, “May the force be with baby Newman.”
According to Us Weekly, the brunch was held at Soho House, with King rocking a colorful pink dress for the affair.
long with family and friends, celeb pals like Selma Blair, Jessica Alba, Ashley Madekwe, fellow mom-to-be Teresa Palmer and her fiancé Mark Webber, and King’s Hart of Dixie costars Rachel Bilson and Wilson Bethel were all in attendance.
King, who is expecting her first child with husband Kyle Newman, hasn’t been shy about sharing the details of her pregnancy, joking on Twitter about everything from the baby’s name to what she’s been craving.
“Our baby has the best name: The Untitled Newman-King Project,” the mom-to-be joked back in June, later tweeting, “If I don’t eat in the next few minutes, I may hack off my husbands head. Sorry, Kyle. Your move.”
King has been so open with followers on Twitter, she even asked: “There is a lot of weird s–t that happens to your body when you are pregnant. Why don’t women talk openly about these things???”
However, despite her cravings and questions about her changing body, the actress seems to be enjoying the experience.
“The most amazing thing I have experienced in my life thus far is feeling my baby move. This baby is pure rock n’ roll,” Jaime shared.
